About Me

Christine Zammit

BBus, GradDipPsych, BPsychSci(Hons), MPsych(Prof)

Before becoming a psychologist, I spent many years working in the corporate world, in roles that centered around people, projects, and communication.

Alongside that, I’ve raised three boys, which has taught me more about patience, perspective, and connection than any textbook ever could.  I’m also a proud late-diagnosed ADHD’er, so I understand the unique challenges (and superpowers) of owning a brain that doesn’t always fit into neurotypical expectations!

I’ve always been drawn to understanding what makes people tick. As a lifelong learner, I returned to study psychology as a mature student; balancing full-time study with work and family life. It was one of the more challenging (and rewarding) chapters of my life, and it deepened my empathy for others navigating big transitions and stretched capacities. I completed my undergraduate and honours studies in psychology at UNSW, followed by a Master of Professional Psychology at Macquarie University. I chose a pathway that emphasised rigour and depth because I value working from an evidence-based foundation, ensuring the support I offer is grounded in approaches that genuinely help people (not based on the latest fad).

These experiences shape the way I work today, bringing with me a wealth of real-world insight, curiosity, and compassion. I offer practical, down-to-earth support grounded in evidence-based approaches, with a deep respect for your individual story.
